I've been given a 'Yuletide Challenge' this year, and it occurred to me that I might try to do something with Lucille's ghost drifting in and out of her inquest -- there must have been an inquest before Edith and Alan were allowed to leave the country, even if Lucille's violent death was a clear case of self-defence. The journey to England sets off in time for the beginning of winter, so with some handwaving for an indeterminate number of weeks before the showdown and quite possibly a hospital recovery afterwards (although legally, an inquest was supposed to take place as soon as possible to avoid deterioration of the body before it had been examined by the jury -- possibly not too much of a problem in snowy conditions, though), one could probably place an immediately post-canon story around Christmas/New Year.

What I don't have is any plot ideas, other than Lucille's general reactions to the whole situation!
